At the Famagusta Anti Occupation Event in Deryneia Dr Simos Ioannou, the Mayor of Famagusta met with Sir Roger Gale MP,  Honorary Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus and Christos Karaolis,  President of the World Federation of Overseas Cypriots and President of the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK.  Mary Karaolis representing the Association of Rizokarpasso in Britain attended the event, which was attended my numerous politicians and organised groups as well as many displaced citizens from Famagusta and other towns and villages under Turkish army occupation. 

The event was addressed by the Mayor of Famagusta and guest speaker was the President of the Republic of  Cyprus Nikos Christdoulides.
