Following the very successful meeting of Karpasia Association representatives with the Bishop of Karpasia on 18th March, it has been agreed that when his Eminence The Archbishop of Cyprus, Archbishop Chrysostomos II visits the UK in May a meeting should again take place with his Eminence and representatives from each of the Karpasia Associations/Villages.
The programme for Archbishop Chrysostomos has now been arranged and a meeting has been scheduled with representatives from all the Karpasia Associations/Villages on:
*Friday 16th May at 6.30pm *
*at the Greek Cypriot Brotherhood, Britannia Road, North Finchley, London
N12 9RU.*
This will be an historic visit by the Archbishop of Cyprus at a crucial time for Cyprus and so it is significant that the representatives from occupied Karpasia take the opportunity to meet with the Archbishop so that the voice of the people of the Karpasia peninsula is heard.
